Nothing Left to Say But Goodbye ♥
DAY 39
Well I guess I should take this opportunity before the winner is announced tonight to close my time here in the Faroe Islands. I gained more here than what I bargained for and I am forever humble and grateful for the experience I had these past few months. No matter what the outcome, I’m already walking away as a winner with the relationships I have gained, the adventure I got to have, and the lessons I have learned.
If I do win, I hope people don’t see it as a fluke because even though I wasn’t the outspoken one or the most colorful player to play this series, I gave my all in this. I hope people can see that. I believed in this series, and gave it all my time and energy that my life was able to let me give. I fought hard in the early challenges, I made strong relationships to where I was never in danger at the vote ( I received no votes against me this whole game), and I protected my allies and thrown individual immunity so I could have a vote in tribal council.
I was very nervous that I wasn’t even going to be selected to play this game, that to even have a 1/3 shot at being the next iSurv1vor is so awesome. I remember after being chosen to play, I was so happy, but I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t rest until I made it to the end. And now I’m here. So no matter if I win or lose, I’m leaving with my head up high. I did what I came out to do, I didn’t compromise my morals and stayed true to myself and made my own decisions when it came to my game.
So now it’s time to say goodbye! adios! au revoir! arrivederci! my loyal followers!
Until next time?... XOXO Drew
