Um. I still have access to my personal journal.... I always have.... I didn't realize people lost access once they were out of the game.
HENYWAY that's why I'm doing this here, but I'll message the host as well.
Alright, this whole FTC was a fucking mess. Everyone felt entitled to post whatever the fuck, wherever the fuck, and it got pretty annoying. The Final Tribal council wasn't at all entertaining, but it has helped me come to a decision.
Before I cast my vote, a few comments for the finalists. As a whole, while I was in the game, I was close to all three of you, and I was certain you'd all make it far. Despite what anyone has said during the home stretch of the game and during the FTC, you all earned your place in the finals.
Ryan - I agree with half of the points you've made during this FTC. You worked hard to set yourself up to make merge in the majority, not only as a member of Skorin, but within the tribe as well. It's certainly something to be proud of, and made your position that much more secure. Props. Unfortunately I don't view the later half of the game as such. I don't entirely agree that you've played this game with integrity, and it stems mostly from recent events. Sorry to sound harsh, but believe me this is not Brian-esque. I simply mean you fell apart during these past few rounds, and specifically this FTC. While I understand that you have a responsibility to explain yourself and argue your points for why you deserve to win, you let people get to you, you over-reacted, lost your cool, and were rude. You seemed not to care about winning over certain votes; you pissed away any possibility of earning them, and I'm not sure what to make of that. Someone who's trying to win the game should be concerned about every vote. If you knew walking into FTC there was no chance in hell you were getting Brian or Sheri's vote, was it really necessary to look like an ass, giving them the sassy ass responses to every remark, which they were so clearly begging for?
Britti - Between you, Ryan, and Drew, I think you handled yourself best during this crazy ass FTC. In your opening statements, you explained your position throughout the game, and gave us insights as to how your previous experiences influenced how you played this time around. You showed us how conscious you were of your game decisions. You made early alliances, you stuck to them, considered other options when the goings got tough, and made a call on your own not to trust an alliance with Brian and Sheri. You made smart choices this game, and you told us about them in your opening and closing statements, as well as answers to jury questions. If this vote was for pure FTC performance, you'd get it.
Drew - You certainly had a gold-star strategy of staying out of people's shit, and you gave good reason during FTC. Skorin had plenty of strong characters, and sitting back, realizing your position was good, you knew you didn't have to get crazy, and it helped you build relationships with people in the game. You definitely took the UTR approach, whether you meant to or not, wanted to or not, it's just how it was compared to other people. You mentioned in your opening statement that although you came across as someone who had nothing to say about anything, it wasn't really the case and we'd all see that when reading your confessional. I wished, though, that I would have seen it more in your answers to juror's questions. I can't cast my vote after I read your confessionals, I can only go off of what I read at FTC. The laid back, staying out of people's biznass worked for you during the game, but it's not exactly what I wanted to see during FTC.
WITH THAT. YALL ARE BOSS. IM VOTING FOR BRITTI.
