The Valkyrie Tribe
DAY 20
Final 10... it's the last leg of the game and all of us are here until the end. I'm really happy to have made the jury stage of the game. So that's one of my main goals in this game completed, and now I just have to make it to the end. The end is in reach yet we still have a long road ahead of us, especially with all these rumors and paranoia going around already. More on that in just a sec.
On Friday I got the flu shot and then was sent to the ER the following morning because of some reaction so hopefully my absence from the game and me being sick right now doesn't hurt me that much.
The twist for the merge is really clever. You bastards.
Some may think it's not that big of a deal of one person just missing tribal council and not be able to vote that round.
But in my opinion it's everything.
Every single vote counts when you go to tribal.
EVERY. SINGLE. VOTE.
No matter even if you think you have the majority, you might not, and somebody can easily flip and vote with the other side. And I know Kalsoy probably realizes that, Brian and Sheri have already tried to pull Kelman and Tony to their side because Dantz apparently told Sheri that Tony and Kelman were at the bottom of the Skorin totem pole. So Kalsoy have been latching on to them like a wet nipple. Tony, I'm not too worried about, I could maybe see him secretly teaming up with one member of Kalsoy for a back up plan but that's it. However, if Kelman (who I guess has a boner for Sheri? IDK why they are so close) feels like he is on the outs, he might switch, so it's crucial that we make him feel like he is part of the Skorin core, and also Jared too.
Right now Ryan is a paranoid mess when hearing this news, because he thinks he is Kalsoy's #1 target. And that may be true, but come on, you can't expect going into this kind of game and think people will let you slide by to the end. They will try to get you out, it's part of the game. You just have to think positive and trust in the people you have put your faith in. Yes, it's good to be prepared and on your toes, but all this paranoia will destroy you before they do.
So if Kalsoy's target is Ryan... and they think that Him - Me - Britti - and Jared are in an alliance, I am probably a target as well. Since they believe that Tony and Kelman are on the outs. Well part of that is true, they don't realize that Tony is tight with us, not Jared. We are already using this to our advantage, as me and Tony were scheming last night to trick Kalsoy into trusting Tony. (I will post the details of the plan later and also my opinion about Tony and Kelman being approached by Kalsoy).
I think that it's in Skorin's best interest to make sure one of Kalsoy wins individual immunity this round. Because it is crucial that the core four are voting this round. Myself, Ryan, Britti and Tony will vote the same way, and I'm 99 percent sure that Jared will vote with us too. And if Kelman sees that we have majority right there, he will no doubt vote with us. So it will be a 6-3 vote.
Now if one of the core four gets immunity. We might be in trouble. Here is the problem I see. Let's say that Ryan wins immunity. Great, he is safe but that leaves the rest of us vulnerable.
Here's why... He wins and isn't able to vote. That drops our voting number down one. Now, if Skorin was 100 percent solid then we would no have a problem and the vote will fall into our majority and a Kalsoy would leave 5-4. No sweat off our backs.
But...
lets say if Kelman sees an opportunity to go with Sheri and the rest of Kalsoy, and he thinks he has a better shot at going further with them... he could switch that fifth vote and a Skorin would leave.
THAT'S WHY EVERY FREAKING VOTE COUNTS! That's exactly why you hosts devised this twist. So people would have to face either choosing to win immunity or not winning it to protect your alliance. Because, lets say you do win immunity for that round.... great your safe. But just for ONE ROUND. I don't think it's worth loosing an ally that could help you get to the end of the game. It's better in the long run to NOT win immunity to ensure you have the votes to keep you and your alliance safe.
I just hope the rest of Skorin realizes that...
