Juno Temple
With a face like a goddess and an ingenuity for the acting biz, Juno Temple is a rising star that already has a few big-name movies under her British belt. Daughter of director Julien Temple and producer Amanda Pirie, she began her career as an actress at the tender age of 8. Juno landed roles alongside big-timers early in her days of acting, like her 2006 film Notes on a Scandal with Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett and the Oscar-winner Atonement (2007) starring Keira Knightley. (Do you see a correlation?)
In 2010, Juno scored her first starring role as Danielle in Dirty Girl, the story of two mismatched, misguided teens who set their sights on California where they hope to both escape their lives and find out who they really are. Dirty Girl, also starring Milla Jovovich, held high regard when it premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, so much so that it was picked up by movie producer-mogul Harvey Weinstein, who shelled out a hefty $3 million in order to bring the flick to theaters under the name of his production company, Weinstein Company. Not bad for a small-town Brit from Somerset.
Anticipated coming-soon features of Juno’s include Jack and Diane (2011), a film about love and loss between two young girls. Also coming later this year is the latest The Three Musketeers, in which Juno stars as Queen Anne with Christopher Waltz and Orlando Bloom. She is rumored to star alongside Anne Hathaway and Christian Bale in the latest installment of the Batman saga, The Dark Knight Rises, set to release in 2012.
The curls and the ironic last name must be a good omen for this british powerhouse, for Juno’s upcoming sure-fire hits and already impressive résumé make her a shoe-in for the A-List one day. I can’t wait to see what she does next!
We need some class in these threads. Mocking tributes, flipping wigs, watching Kalsoy suffers in these challenges and panicking who is going to get a Whori Scroll
