I'm suggesting "Sindur" as our merged tribe name. It actually is a ceremonial powder used in ancient tribal marriages, I didn't make that up, but the whole good-spirited story behind my suggestion was bullshit. It also means "scoring" (aka Skorin) in Icelandic, and that's the real reason I'm pushing for that one.

Round 7 Merge and Jury woot! It should be pretty straight-forward that the 4 people from Kalsoy are in trouble right now: Brian, Joel, Sheri, and Totte. But for this round and probably the next, I don't think Joel or Totte have too much to worry about. Sheri's been highly visible for a while, and part of the reason Dante was voted out last round is because of his interactions with her. She seems to realize that she's probably the next one to go, although she's not giving up. Even after Dante was booted, I'm pretty sure he was talking to her, trying to figure out a way to make it passed these next few rounds: Dante: use that as an advantage Dante: if you dont win immunity Dante: oops lol Tony: uh what? Dante: wrong convo .... -_-But there are some definite pros to keeping on to Sheri for a while, namely the fact that Jared and her have this history and I expect to see some shit fly. Now that we're merged, numbers become important in a whole new way. I'm feeling confident about this four-some between Britti, Drew, Ryan and I, but we have to rely on others until there are 7 left. So a critical round will be at the Final 8. Dante had already figured out that Drew, Ryan, and Britti were working together, and he probably told everyone about that. So it's going to be important that we keep the heat off any of us by ensuring that Sheri, Brian, Joel or Totte don't run to Jared and Kelman saying you're fucked if you keep them in the game. So from this perspective, Sheri is a good candidate for 8th place. With only 8 people left, the 4 of us just need to vote one more person off and we can coast. So a 5th person can help or hurt us. With Sheri as the target of that round, we should have it in the bag. Brian might end up being the first to go, simply because he's not completely insane. I've mentioned it in past confessionals, he's probably someone I would work with in a different game where he wasn't completely screwed and if it were game-suicide to extend my hand to him right now. But because he's not retarded, he probably has the potential to talk some Skorin into doing something we don't want them to do. Joel and Totte are just.....here? I dunno. Totte probably has a target because he won Individual Immunity last round... But once a few more Kalsoy folks are out the door, there's not really anything they can do.... In other news, I have to assume that there will be 3 people in the finals, instead of 2 like I had originally assumed. This is kind of concerning, because my alliance consists of 2 people that nearly everyone on Skorin wants/ed to work with, meaning it'll be hard to get their jury vote. Hmmm.... I feel like I can't get to the finals without my alliance, but I can't win the game with my alliance sitting with me in the finals. Hmmm....

Round 7
Thanks to Dante, I think most of everyone from Kalsoy is under the following impressions:
1. Britti, Drew, and Ryan are "running the show." 2. Jay is Ryan's puppet. 3. Jay and I are going after each other. 4. Kalsoy's only hope is to work with Kelman and me.
Hmmm.
Let's address these points 1 by 1.
1. Britti, Drew, and Ryan are running the show.
Somewhat true. Britt, Drew, Ryan and myself are running the show. Or at least, that's the plan as long as we keep people in line. It's actually quite nice that I've been conveniently left out of the gossip, because the heat is taken off me personally, although it's definitely on my alliance. This also means I'll should expect to hear from people on Kalsoy regarding their plans to vote the top dogs out, but I'll talk about that in Point 4.
2. Jay is Ryan's puppet. 100% true, although nothing to give Ryan an award for. Jay could be anyone's puppet...
3. Jay and I are after each other. Somewhat true. I know that I threaten Jay's chances of being an equal member of a powerful alliance, so he probably is hoping that I leave the game sooner rather than later. But I'm not going after him. He's the perfect candidate to keep on our side until we don't need his vote anymore, especially given his interactions with Sheri. I won't be after him until Round 10 probably.
4. Kalsoy's only hope is working with Kelman and me. False. Kalsoy's only hope is to win Immunity, but given this new twist, even that will fuck them over. Apparently Sheri has been telling her little minions that I can save them in this game, and I don't really know where that came from. Probably from Dante, who clearly has been talking to her lately, and hasn't really put it together that I'm part of this Top Dog alliance. Sheri thinks I'm playing this game to place 6th. 5th at best. Coming from the woman who's playing to get 9th. 8th at best. Clearly, they don't fully understand, but this could all work well for me. If I can get Kalsoy to enjoy me over Drew, Britti, or Ryan, I could get their jury votes over others were I in the finals, and I could win this biotch! And if I let them believe their only hope is to work with Kelman and me, I'll get information out of them. The tricky thing here, though, is that I can't let my alliance get the feeling I'm trying to play both sides of the game. Because I'm really not. I'm trying to play the game with a solid and strong alliance which I need to make it to the end, while at the same time doing what I need to do to give myself a shot at getting jury votes.

I have an awesome plan in the works that depends entirely on what Kelman wants out of this game. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT?!
Where do I begin?
First, this whole idea stems from the apparent belief that Kelman and I are on the outs of Skorin once Kalsoy is picked off, and therefore we need to work with Sheri and Brian to rival this big alliance. My plan is to have Britti, Drew and Ryan essentially swap me for Jared and forge a fake alliance with him, keeping him 100% in check. Then I'd like to take advantage of the false hope Kelman and I can provide to some people from Kalsoy.
If Kelman agrees, we could make an alliance with Sheri and Brian, under the pretense of rivialing this alliance between Drew, Ryan, Britti and Jared, which will surely run this game if we don't do something. The tricky thing is that I don't know how to put it to Kelman. Obviously, I don't really want him to know that I'm doing it to eventually fuck Brian and Sheri over, as well as him a round or two later, but I don't want him to think that I'm serious about fucking over Britti, Drew or Ryan, incase he had plans to work with them. Basically, I need to market it as a way to ensure that two Kalsoy leave these next two rounds, incase anyone tries to get wise. Then we can take a look at where we're at, and decide from there what to do with Brian and Sheri. (Cept not really, I know exactly what I'm doing, I just can't let Kelman know that...)
So if Kelman and I "team" with Brian and Sheri, we could make this deal to vote off Totte and Joel the first two rounds, and then we go after Britti, Drew and Ryan. Now, how do I made this sound legitimate, and not just a trick? We can't attack too soon. If Kelman and I vote for someone from Skorin this round, this plan will be foiled and we'll fuck ourselves over. We can't do it next round because there will be an even number of votes with the Immunity twist, we have to wait until the next round when there will be 7 votes cast. So to Sheri and Brian, things will go like this: Totte and Joel leaving this round and next, which leaves Britti, Drew, Ryan, and Jared v Tony, Kelman, Sheri and Brian. Then we just need to make sure that Tony, Kelman, Sheri or Brian don't win Immunity, and the other alliance has 3 votes, while we have 4. Then we can dominate, right?
But in all reality, even if Britti, Drew, Ryan, or Jared win Immunity, since I'll be voting with them for Sheri, and not with Sheri, Brian or even Kelman for one of the other 4, it won't even matter that we lose a vote. It will still be 4-3, but Sheri will be going home instead of either Britti, Drew, or Ryan.
Then from there, who even cares of Kelman feels betrayed? He and Brian won't have the numbers to do shit about it, and Jared will feel too awesome for outplacing Sheri to realize that he's not even part of his alliance. From that point on, Britti, Drew, Ryan, and I control the vote, even if one of us wins immunity.
Thank God for this Immunity twist, actually. It's a vital piece of my plan sounding legitimate to Sheri and not just some cheap trick to fuck her over.

So I'm thinking the above plan doesn't even need to happen. Sheri took away any shot she has at flipping the vote on its side this round, and essentially next round too, since she'll be losing someone from her original tribe. From that point on, the only thing we need to do is keep Jared in check.
AND WHOA as I write this I take that all back. I knew my plan depended entirely on figuring out what Kelman wants, and I just got it.
7:31:58 PM Kelman: just thinking out loud, but what are the chances we could boot britti this round?
He's a flipper.
I need to tailor my plan to entice Kelman with an opportunity to get some Kalsoy support, with the eventual plan to knock off Britti after Totte and Joel, and then if we wanted, we could ditch Sheri and Brian, or we could keep them around some more, depending on how things are going at that moment. And it sounds like this needs to be brought up soon. Thanks for the heads up, Kelman.
And apparently now I hear that Jared wants to include me in his Final 3. Hmmmm. Okay. So now another important part of this plan is to not let Kelman and Jared compare notes about our plans. Kelman needs to believe that Jared wants Britti around so that he never approaches him with a silly question like "What are the chances we boot Britti this round?" Because if Jared goes for it, then who gives a fuck if I flip? We'd be screwed.
RISKAY BIZNASS, but you gotta do what you gotta do to keep flippers in check.

Round 8
LOL WHOOPS
Leave it to Jay to screw things up by already locking in a vote for Sheri apparently! After I talked with her and went along with her idea of an alliance: Tony, Kelman, Sheri and Brian. Looks like things are screwed up a little, which argh fuck I'll just have to deal with, but whatevz, it shouldn't be an issue to get back on track. Let's do some thinking out loud.
Sheri leaving this round would leave: Tony, Britt, Drew, Ryan, Jay, Kelman, Brian, and Joel. Kelman's pretty much been identified as the major flipper, since he's clearly been talking with Sheri, and mentioned voting out Britti to me last round. I don't think I have to worry about Jay turning on us; I mean, if he did, it would be to vote out Kelman, Britti, or myself, but people would go for Kelman first. So meh I guess it doesn't need to be as complicated as I made it sound in previous entries. Just get rid of em, people don't seem to be realizing the alliance I am in, although geez I think it's pretty obvious. I just hope it doesn't become super obvious to Kelman, Joel, and Brian after I ditch Sheri sooner than I planned.
WHAT CAN YA DO!

Round 8 I always think it's going to get tough keeping my main alliances hidden from people like Kelman, Sheri, and Brian, but then something always presents itself to make it quite easy. Kelman was really pushing for Britti to go this round, and I found myself falling short of good arguments against it that wouldn't raise suspicions. To someone who doesn't think I'm in an alliance with Britti, it does sound enticing to cut her loose this round, especially with Ryan not being able to vote, and with Jay already voting for Sheri. But then Kelman ruined his own plan. Sheri had mentioned that she didn't trust Kelman 100% because he told her he could get the votes for Britti, but wouldn't name any names. C'mon, Kelman, we're dealing with Sheri, if you only make her feel 99% safe, she doesn't want to hear your crap. She had a feeling that as soon as Britti was gone, he'd essentially replace her with him in the alliance, and he wouldn't be much help to her or Kalsoy anymore. So I asked Kelman what happens next if Britti leaves this round. His response: vote out Kalsoy, then Jared, and the Final 4 is me, him, Drew, and Ryan. Bingo. I confirm Sheri's suspicions and she is no longer on board with voting out Britti. She won't do it just because Kelman says so; she doesn't like Kelman telling her what to do, and she's annoyed that he thinks he has everything planned out. Instead, she is voting for Joel just because I say so, doesn't mind me telling her what to do, and isn't annoyed that I have everything planned out. Oh, and Brian apparently already voted for Joel as well, so Kelman really doesn't have the votes he thought he did. So Kelman's big plan to do a double backflip in this game is officially suspended. My alliance remains intact, and the fact that Jay is voting for Sheri will make for an interesting lead into the next Round. There will be tension between Sheri and Jay, and between Britti and Kelman. Awesome news for Drew, Ryan and I, and since we have Britti's back - she doesn't have to worry. I cannot wait for next round.

1. I can't believe I never posted this round lol whhhoooops there was much to say.
2. I can't believe Kelman left with a vote-void and my self-vote. Brian and Sheri keep complaining that we do everything Ryan says, but what the heck, look at their voting history...
